STI Prevention for Youth and Young Adults
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common and most STIs don’t have symptoms. The only way to know if you have an STI is to get tested.
Take care of yourself and your sexual partners by getting tested for STIs. It is especially important for teens and young adults to get tested for STIs; teens and young adults are more likely to have an STI compared to older age groups. Teens 12 and older in California can get free, confidential STI testing and treatment.
